The Museum of Modern Art of Salzburg has a perfect exposition among The Rupertinum exhibition for music, modern art and Charlotte Moorman lovers.
Nominated “A Feast of Astonishment”, the exhibition tells the story of the American musician (cellist) and artist Charlotte Moorman, born in 1933. Founder of the Annual Avant Garde Festival of New York, Moorman is famous not only for being an excellent cellist but mainly for her experiments as a performance artist.
The exhibition takes place until 18th of June and is Worth to visit, mostly because of the details it tells about every single step of Moorman’s career and contributions to the performing art’s field.
