Nominated by the Finance, a leading Slovenian business newspaper, Big Berry set its place among the three most innovative start-ups in Slovenia.
After the announcement of nominations for Najpodjetniška Ideja 2016/17, which previously had 100 selected companies, a public voting started and lasted for about a month. During almost third day's campaign, BIG BERRY collected unambiguously twice more video views on competition video clip in comparison to 10 other important start-ups. People from all over the country and the world had the chance to vote, what attracted numerous international bloggers, travellers, partners, friends with whom BIG BERRY has built a strong connection throughout the year.
For Ana Iskra, BIG BERRY member since its foundation, this election shows nothing more than the potential the brand has: "I felt so proud to be part of this company even before the nominations because for me BIG BERRY was a success before I saw any of the houses or location in real life."
Still, according to Ana: “BIG BERRY story of connecting modern lifestyle through our houses and local unspoilt surrounding of our locations, gets complexed easily but this is what gives my job the 'juice'".
BIG BERRY story
BIG BERRY (BB) was founded in 2016 when it opened its doors for freelance writers, journalists, photographers and other influencers interested in knowing more about this new tourism concept.
This year, however, BIG BERRY is hosting guests and spreading the brand through the new destinations in Austria and Romania.
Besides this great news, BB has launched two promising projects between April and May. The first one, named BIG BERRY Chef, aims to bring excellent cooks to spend some days with BIG BERRY people cooking, taking part in the events, meeting partners, which are the biggest provider of ingredients for their food creations.
BIG BERRY Mastermind, however, was the second project to be launched in the best style possible. As its purpose is to debate business issues, ideas and tips, BB Mastermind hosts an entrepreneur every week to share his/her knowledge with the BB interns and invited guests from different institutions.
The concept of bringing people and business together has not changed, on the contrary, BIG BERRY has continued investing in this business model, which is based on corporate sustainability, international cooperation and innovative solutions, while offering local services and local products as a full experience package for every visitor.
