The award winning olive oil from Chiavalon Olive Oil Estate in Vodnjan, Istria, will be exported to the United States of America. The agreement has been signed between the oil producer and the Drusk Trading Company. The first shipment of one of the fifteen best olive oils in the world and most awarded olive oil from Croatia has already arrived and will now be available all over the US with sells mostly aiming at top restaurants.
It is not the first trip for Chiavalon Oilive Oil which also already made its way to all EU states, Taiwan and Japan. The familiy owned business produces 10 tonnes of oil per year and plans to double its capacity within the next 2 to 3 years. New trees are growing already.
