Brewery Vizir is a pioneer in the field of craft brewing in Slovenia. In brewery they sailed in 2008 because they wanted to expand our original activity of winery and thus offer something new to our customers. As a start-up and a young team with a lot of innovation and knowledge, they designed a completely different strategy. Thus, with the help of the family company Mithraeum, which manufactures brewing equipment, they set up brewery and started exploring the world of brewing. Both owners, Maya and Denis, are a graduated food technologists, which has made it easier for them to get a lot of initial problems to achieve the desired results faster and more efficiently.
In their brewery, they now breed very differently and with the imagination of the added beer style. Vizir produces beers of lower fermentation (lager or bearings) as well as upper fermentation beer (ale beer). In the last styles they play with different combinations of barley, wheat and hops. Special attention is paid to the choice of raw materials, which are the best ones. The advantage of choosing hops is that it gives high quality Slovenian hops, and when special fragrance is needed, foreign is also used, aromatic hops from all over the world.
