Within 34th “Vinska Vigred” in Metlika, it was held expert assessment of the collected wines. 311 samples came from Bela Krajina, Italy and neighboring Croatia.
The evaluation was conducted under the sponsorship of the Professional association of winegrowers of Slovenia. It was awarded five champions. Champion wine belokranjec PTP 2015 has produced by Jože Pečarič from Čurile (score 17.30), champion wine metliška črnina PTP 2015 is Martin Pečarič from Čurile (17, 37), champion of dry wines of the current year is the cellar Sturm - Chardonnay (18,27) . Champion of predicate wines is Joseph Prus from Krmačina - Sauvignon Icewine 2003 (19.80), the champion of foreign wines is Josip Rajaković from Krasic - Muscat from dried grapes, 2014 (18.77). Head of the evaluation was Andrew Bishop, who said that the quality of the wines getting better each year.
