Constanta Port has been choosen to be the starting point of one of the bigges sailing events in the Black Sea. This year's edition of the SCF Black Sea Tall Ships Regatta will start the first race in Constanta on September 11th and continues to Novorossiysk in Russia. The organizers of the event, Sail Training International, based their decision on the success of Constanta Port as an intermediary port in 2014. Over 100,000 visitors were attracted by the Romanian port within four days. The opening celebrations will start on September 8th in Constanta Port and lead to the start of the first race a few days later.
The Black Sea Tall Ships Regatta is a teaching event - a great chance for young amateurs to learn the art of sailing. Participants can be of any ability but must be at least 15 years old.
