Telegondola Mamaia - Mamaia Cable Car
50 m above the Black Sea. It is the first project in Romania, which represents a complex equipment of cable transport, destined to tourists, who want to admire the view of Mamaia resort. The transport capacity is of 600-1500 persons per hour.
The cable car is another tourist attraction of the seaside. People can admire from above the surroundings and Mamaia resort. You can embark yourself from two stations, one in the area of Perla Mamaia Hotel and the other one in the area of Mamaia Casino. In this way, tourists will have the occasion to really float for about seven minutes, at a 50m height, above Mamaia resort. Each cabin of the cable car has a capacity of eight places, the cabin is closed and it has natural ventilation and sun protection, being strongly glazed for assuring a high visibility.
Leading edge equipment is used, according to international standards, with a maximum level of safeness. The total length of the route is of 2000 meters. The cable car does not function each Monday between 16:00-18:00 hours when the technical revision is done and also when are unfavorable meteorological conditions.
