Museum im Lavanthaus
The Museum in the Lavanthaus, the owner of the ‘Austrian Museum Seal’, is the Regional Museum of the Lavant Valley. It sees itself as a platform of knowledge of the region. The museum was opened in November 2009 and is sponsored by the municipality of Wolfsberg. Numerous content is scientifically prepared with the support of borrowers and experts from the region as well as cooperation partners from other educational institutions. There is an extensive diversity of topics displayed in the museum. For example, 15 themed modules in the permanent presentation with numerous multimedia stations as well as annually changing special exhibitions offer the opportunity to deal with the region and its contents.
