Mozart's Residence
Mozart’s residence is located in the heart of Salzburg at Makartplatz. He moved there with his family, parents and sister, in 1773 and lived there for 14 years.
On 26 January 1996, the Mozart’s Residence reopened as Mozart’s Museum, gathering a collection of his family belongings such as his fortepiano and many portraits and documents.
