Metlika - staro mestno jedro
Metlika where is a city under Gorjanci and along the river of Kolpa. Metlika has some features of a prehistoric period that is related to good Turks and others. The biggest experience of the city occurred in the late 19th century. When the first fire was started in Slovenian towns of Dolenjska and Bela Krajina, Metlika took its real role in history.
The oldest and most attractive part of the city's old town which lies on a promontory above the stream Obrhom and represents the bosom of the treasury of cultural heritage of Bela Krajina.
