Lupa Capitolina
The old town of Constanta city starts with the statue of Lupa Capitolina - mythical she-wolf from the antique Roman myths.
The sculpture represents a wolf - Lupa, suckling the twins, Romulus and Remus, from the legend of the founding of Rome. The Lupa wolf is regarded as a symbol of Rome from ancient times. You can find sculptures like this in Rome and others Italian cities.
