Benedictine Abbey
Stift Nonnberg, also Erin Monastery after the first abbess Erentrudis of Salzburg, is a Benedictine abbey in Salzburg. It is today the world's oldest Christian convent with uninterrupted tradition.
The entire Nonnberg Foundation, with its walled-in and archaeological sites, is under monument protection and belongs to the UNESCO World Heritage site of the city of Salzburg.
