What is your idea of freedom? Independence in all aspects of my life.
What is your favorite film related to nature? Funny, I watch a lot of movies...really A LOT :) but right now I can't think any of nature-related one...hmmm, oh yeah I remembered one : L'odyssee. It's about Jacques Cousteau's life. He was a pioneer in the field of underwater filming and modern diving. Also, he was one of the first who noticed how human activity was destroying the oceans. You should definitely watch it!
Why did you decide to be part of BIG BERRY? Working in nature sounded perfect to me. And it really was perfect!
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? I don't think about that, I like to travel, a lot! But also I really like my hometown and for this moment I don't have the need to go live somewhere else....but I know that I couldn't live without the sea. So yeah....it would be some quiet place near the sea!
What makes you feel at home? My dog and loved ones.
How will you remember your experience with BIG BERRY Art Colony? I'm grateful for the opportunity to work with such wonderful artists; also Kolpa River is quite a magical place.
What song gives you inspiration? It depends. If I'm painting or drawing something I like to listen to Ella Fitzgerald or Billie Holiday, louis armstrong...you know, just leave me alone and give me some good wine and jazz.
What is your philosophy of Art? Just be true to yourself!
What is the most important tool for you? My hands and my mind
Who is your favorite artist? Oh this is a difficult one! Well I really can't pick a favorite one...there so many of them which work I admire. Photographers, illustrators, filmmakers, painters, tattoo artists, musicians....the list just goes on!
What other job would you do, if drawing wouldn’t be an option? I'm working in so many fields that at least this is an easy question: puppet maker, photographer, costume designer would be my 3 top choices!
Is there something you would like to do before dying? Live at fullest!
