Petersfriedhof Salzburg
The Petersfriedhof (cemetery of the St. Peter's Cemetery) is the oldest Christian burial site in Salzburg, next to the cemetery of the Nonnberg Abbey.
Due to its location at the foot of the rock of the fortress and its picturesque surroundings, which always opens up new vistas, the Petersfriedhof was a favorite theme of 19th century painting and poetry.
