Once upon a time, not far from Wies, in the village of Heimschuh lived around 1830 a small hunchbacked man in farm. The people of the region saw him a "half human, half devil" being. He was called the "Schratl". He was known for his bad taste humour and jokes. But one time, the harvests was very bad in the region so he decided to help the villagers by steeling all the grains from the local mill and give it to them so they can survive.
Every year since, between May and September, people are celebrating and honouring his legend.
