In dedication to the great Slovenian poet Oton Župančič , people, including our bloggers, journalists and team members of BIG BERRY, hiked along the footpath from Dragatuš to Vinica today. It has been the 19th traditional walk that reaches from Oton Župančič's birthplace to the village where he spend his childhood years. The hikers follow the 13km path through the Lahinja Regional Park, the villages of Hrast and Perudina, up the Žeželj hill above Vinica and along the pilgrim path to Golek. This footpath is a great chance to experience the typical Bela krajina landscape, boasting with its natural and cultural attractions. Whoever could not make it today will have the chance again 2 weeks since the walk will take place every second saturday in June. The hike will take about 4h and is relatively easy to hike.
