Slovenian Tourist Board (STO) organized events to present Slovenia’s attractions and cuisine to American tour operators , key tourism media outlets and other tourist organisations that have business in New York on Tuesday.
According to STO director, Maja Pak, Slovenia is one of emerging destinations among American tourism destination.’’ American tourist market is becoming crucial for Slovenia and number of American tourist has been rising in recent years.’’
Pak remarked that, Americans tourists are mostly visiting Ljubljana but also have interest on outdoor activities and Slovenia’s cuisine.
