Ribiška družina Metlika, Metlika's fishing club, hosted a fishing event last weekend in order to prepare for the upcoming fishing season. The club invited all its members to support the resettlement of the fish. After the rehabilitation of the big pond, that started in 2011, it has now filled with water and is ready to be prepared for fishing. For that, fishes are moved from the little pond to the bigger one so that they start recreating there. From 9am to 8pm on saturaday about 10 fishers helped to move as many fish as possible so that RD Metlika can open the fishing season for its members and interested people very soon. Angler can catch fish from the big pond and release them afterwards or buy it.
