La Strada Graz celebrates its 20th anniversary this year from 27th of July til 4th of August. The festival turns the beautiful city of Graz into a stage of street and puppet theater. This year, artists from eight nations are arriving to change perspectives and reflect on the themes of our time with their performances. The unique experience is fulfilled with the active participation of the citizens and the visitors in the city.
For one week, street theater, acrobatics, pantomime, puppet theater, children’s theater, dance, and clown acts fill the streets of Graz and amaze the people with the magical atmosphere. The festival aims to foster the development of productions and to support local artists in their involvement in festival event across Europe.
