Ljubljana has been chosen for a cultural center of foreign culture. Many foreign institutes, such as the French Institute, the British Council and the Goethe Institute, have been promoting their cultures through various language classes, exhibitions, concerts and other events.
The institute named Balassi that is promoting Hungarian culture, is the latest cultural institute to be established in Ljubljana, in April 2016. Despite that, the Institute has been organizing numerous events in Ljubljana through the summer and has a rich program also for the future. Next month, the Institute will we exhibiting the work of famous Hungarian artists: Victor Vasarely and Zoltan Kodaly.
All events organized by the cultural institutes in Ljubljana are funded by their countries to expand native cultures and to connect European cultural development.
