Bärnbach in southern Styria is a city full of cultural attractions where renowned artists have left their mark and made art and culture into an experience. The most well-known attraction in the city is the colorful Hundertwasser church St. Barbara with its golden tower elements. Close to the church, visitors can find the facade of the Neue Mittelschule designed by Zeppel-Sperl. Nearby is also the city park with a unique, colorful Moses fountain that has been designed by professor Ernst Fuchs.
Other sights of this small town are the peaceful Holy Mountain with its little church and crucifixion group and on the northern edge of the city, the Alt-Kainach Castle with a heritage museum and seasonal exhibitions. Behind the castle is also the Bärnbach Castle pool.
