Colorful and artistic were the streets of Bucharest last weekend. The eight edition of the B-FIT in the Street! festival, organised by ARCUB, filled the streets with acrobatics from Spain, Britian, Italy, Slovakia, Germany, Romania and the Netherlands. The performances included acrobats on stilts, fantastical characters, musicians, living statues and mask theater. One of the highlights was the show "Night Dream", performed by a French artist who presented giant pyrotechnical games and acrobatics. The first night of the festival ended in a shower of flakes, firewrks and balloons floating around. Throughout the weekend the program included the city's neighbourhoods and draws a very important line of attention to the city with it's application for the title of European Capital of Culture 2012.
