Portoroz which is a mild Mediterranean city of Slovenia will host Serbian European Folklore Festival this summer between 3 - 4 June. This traditional festival is gaining more and more visits and quality year by year. The event will lead to performing of Austrian, Swedish, German, Croatian, Hungarian and many other folklore groups.
The event takes place once a year and has a competitive character. and each year's the festival gathered more than 2,500 performers and more than 2,000 visitors.
The two-day competition and the magazine program of folklore ensemble show folk dances, songs, music, customs and costumes from the territory of Serbia and other areas inhabited by Serbs and nourish culture, folk traditions, language and other important factors, one of the nation, especially those living away from its nuts.
