PEČARIČ WINE HOUSE
Pečarič Wine House is a family-run winegrowing and winemaking estate in Bela Krajina, with a long-standing winemaking tradition. Its carefully cultivated vineyards produce a wide range of white, red, rosé, and sparkling wines, including the distinctive Belokranjec PTP, Metliška Črnina PTP, and Rosalia sparkling wine. DOLC WINERY 1834
Dolc Winery is a family-owned winery in Drašiči, Bela Krajina, with a winemaking tradition dating back to 1834. Across approximately 12 hectares of vineyards, the family produces high-quality white, red and late-harvest wines, with Blaufränkisch being one of its signature varieties. By combining tradition, modern winemaking techniques and a strong family commitment, the estate preserves and celebrates the distinctive winemaking heritage of Bela Krajina.
HOZNAR WINE CELLAR
Hoznar Wine Cellar is a family-run winery in Bela Krajina whose story began in 1968, when the first vineyards were planted and the wine cellar was established in Ručetna Vas. Today, the family lovingly tends approximately 16,000 grapevines and produces boutique wines that combine tradition, modern winemaking techniques, and respect for nature. Their wines are crafted in small batches, reflecting a high level of craftsmanship, strong family ties, and a genuine passion for winemaking.
PRUS WINE CELLAR
The Prus family estate in Krmačina, near Metlika, has preserved Bela Krajina’s rich winemaking tradition for four generations. In the sun-drenched vineyards of Bela Krajina, the family produces exceptional wines across a wide range of styles, from sparkling and orange wines to late-harvest and other predicate wines, as well as the renowned straw wine. Prus Wine Cellar is particularly well known for its award-winning sweet wines made from grapes harvested at exceptional levels of ripeness, which have earned acclaim both in Slovenia and internationally.
ŠUKLJE WINE CELLAR
The Šuklje family’s winemaking story dates back to 1895, when the family’s first vineyards were replanted. Today, the sixth and seventh generations continue this rich tradition with dedication, crafting wines in the vineyards of Bela Krajina that express the distinctive character of their terroir. Their wines bring together family heritage, respect for nature, and modern winemaking expertise, with every glass telling the story of Bela Krajina.
