Romanian Cuisine includes a diverse blend of different dishes from several traditions with which it has come into contact, but it also maintains its own character. It has been greatly influenced by Ottoman cuisine, but also from the cuisines of other neighbors, like German, Serbian, Bulgarian, and Hungarian cuisine.

There are a few different types of dishes, which includes soups with a characteristic sour taste, like meat-, vegetable-, or fish soups etc. The meat is a MUSS, grilled, fried, the Romanians love it. Try a desert the Papanash with cow cheese and jam or some fruits - it´s delicious!

Once in Romania try the traditional alcoholic drink - țuică (plum brandy) is a generic name for a strong alcoholic spirit in Romania.
