Sound of Silence

"Tees are sanctuaries. Whoever knows how to speak to them, whoever knows how to listen to them, can learn the truth". Forest is indeed a magic sanctuary, full of fresh fragrance, which bestows eternal calmness and peacefulness. It is a shelter from hectic daily life, a retreat, in which one can find harmony. Here one can listen to the sacred sound of silence, which tells more than thousand words. For silence is in no way emptiness.

Woods are everlasting source of energy and thoughts. Whoever finds himself in the realm of lush greenery, can learn the most sacred secrets, whispered by the spirit of forest. Not surprisingly, our ancestors found their gods in the heart of forest.

We have already tamed Slovenian whimsical and proud queen ― Triglav  mountain, and this time decided to wander through Triglav National Park, which stretched its numerous roots along formidable Alps. It was mesmerizing to listen to the waterfall’s lullaby, to observe the whole kingdom on the bottom of crystal clear river full of treasure-like stones. For a moment I wished I were a mermaid living in those luring depths and admiring her mighty and wise father ― Poseidon. For a moment I felt like home. I fell in love with a secluded corner in the park where was a large dam abundant with numerous waterfalls. Above the dam was a barely visible bridge, which scattered slight sunset rays. The ground was full of stone figures, which resembled the pagan gods. The very scenery brought about some mysterious idyll.

“Keep your eyes up” ― as my friend used to say.
