The annual Dult is a traditional folk festival held in and around the Salzburg Exhibition & Congress Center. It offers an extraordinary combination of country fair and trade show.
Fun with a true folk flavor and free admission
On the expo grounds, visitors can look forward to all the entertainment you would traditionally associate with a classic folk festival: fairground rides, exhibitors, beer tents, market stands and games stalls.
The Salzburger Dult traditionally opens on Whit Saturday with a big parade from Residenzplatz Square to the expo grounds. Marchers include wind musicians, whip crackers, ceremonial militia and horse-drawn carriages.
