Organized for the first time in Klagenfurt, Conquer the Lake is a fun weekend combining sports, sightseeing and social activities. The motto of the event is “compete, connect & celebrate” and therefore from 8th to 10th of June the whole city will be buzzing with great atmosphere. During the day the unique event fills the Klagenfurt Strandbad with sports, fun activities and music. When the sun sets the festival-goers can continue having a good time in the numerous clubs and pubs in the city center.
What connects the activities at the Lake Wörthersee and in the city center is a live challenge that will put your body, mind and soul to the test with different sport challenges, tricky tasks and social activities across the city. The tasks are completed in real time via a CTL app and who ever plays the smartest and gets the most points will be crowned the Conqueror of the Lake.
After two days of fun activities the highlight of the event will take place in the castle Maria Loretto where the French star DJ Klingande entertains the festival-goers until deep into the early morning hours.
