Inventors Develop Soft, Edible Water Bottle.
A designer-engineer startup team called Skipping Rocks Lab has built up a delicate, biodegradable and palatable bundling framework for water that encases it in a straightforward air pocket produced using kelp. Their splendid point is to get rid of plastic bundling, and keeping in mind that it's creating a considerable measure of buzz, there are a few imperative calculated inquiries that bounced out at us. Before we get to that, observe what they've thought of, which they call Ooho.
Ooho's team briefly described their products' benefits to Core77.com team as:
- It is 100% made of Plants & Seaweed
- Biodegradable in 4-6 weeks, just like a piece of fruit
- Edible, can be flavoured and coloured
- Fresh (shelf life of a few days)
- 5x less CO2, 9x less Energy vs PET
- Cheaper than plastic
That is not an inconceivable impediment, but rather requires some outline considering. Regardless, Skipping Rocks has effectively crowdfunded the following phase of Ooho's improvement, having raised £799,990 (USD $1 million) on a £400,000 target. We're extremely inquisitive to perceive what comes next.
