Dominic Wilcox - Art is for dogs too!

You may have thought fine art was just for humans, but Dominic Wilcox is changing that. Last Friday, Wilcox opened the world’s first art exhibition for dogs titled ‘Play More’. The exhibition was open for just 2 days in London last week and featured paintings that employ colors within dogs' visual spectrum hung at their eye level. It also featured a 10 feet wide dog bowl, filled with 1,000 dog food-esque balls to jump and play in, an open car window simulator, a screen that simulates frisbee throwing, and more. In an interview with Bored Panda, Wilcox said, “Since humans have so many art galleries to visit I thought it’s a good time to create an exhibition just for them.” He continued, “Just because dogs can’t speak our human language doesn’t mean they don’t feel the same emotions and enjoy seeing and experiencing new and interesting things.”

This was the place to be for any pup! For our "Hands In Need" Charity campaign, the BIG BERRY team decided to take example from Wilcox and give some time with the furry species. We went to local shelter, Zavetišče Turk, and took a couple pooches on a nice long walk. Everyone deserves new experiences and some attention. Check out our video with all the fur ball fun to the left.
