5th BB Chef - Margarita, a young cook with a grand plans!

 

A wonderful young Russian Chef Margarita Gabrielyan, a former Intern at Mandarin Oriental in Geneva (Switzerland) is a great cook in the beginning of her career. She became the 5th BB Chef preparing for us delicious lunch recipe for lamb tenderloin with homemade pasta and macaroons with lemon cream and raspberries.

 

About Margarita Gabrielyan

She defines herself as a salty person and justifies her point of view by saying that salty food is what she prefers to cook! However, if you spend only 30 seconds in her company, you will definitely say she is a sweet person.

The idea of becoming a cook came to her mind when she was 13 years old. The main motivation was actually an opportunity to try everything. The possibility to work with the freshest products and newest technics also sounded very attractive for a little girl. For Margarita, being in a kitchen is like being in a laboratory. You create different things with the help of experiments, but in the end, you get something delicious instead of chemical elements.

The dream of this young but determined cook was revealed: “What I really want is to be knowledgeable in the culinary industry and, after that, I would like to have a company in which I could work with ingredients and food production.”

 

Delicious lunch recipe

The mission of deciding what meals will be cooked is always challenging, however, Margarita dealt great with this!

For the main dish Margarita’s chosen the recipe for lamb tenderloin with homemade pasta, vegetables, topped with mushroom sauce. Delicious and special homemade pasta meal with deliciously tender lamb tenderloin, topped with a creamy fragrant and flavorful mushroom sauce always using Zlati Ghee’s butter. For the dessert Margarita’ chosen to cook the recipe for macaroons topped with a chocolate, lemon cream and fresh berries, served with raspberry sauce. Delicious macaroons topped with a drizzle chocolate, lemon cream and packed with fresh berries flavor were amazing surprise. BIG BERRY experience

As 5th BB Chef Margarita was cooking for us the last weekend of May (27th and 28th) 2017 and her experience in BB kitchen was nothing less than pleasant. With her quiet personality, she took over the mission of cooking two dishes, but not before visiting TIK TAK Café, where she tried a blend of her favorite ice cream flavors: passion fruit, chocolate and mango.

On Saturday she threated us with her lamb tenderloin. For Sunday however, her choice were macaroons with fresh lemon cream and fresh berries. During the preparation she was provided with kitchen tools by the Status company. Right after preparing her last plate, Margarita hosted Danilo Pavlovič, who gave her one of his company’s best product, which is a berry jam, and they spend some time chatting and trying the Margarits’s lemon cream dessert.

As usually we also had a bit of time for traditional “Trying the cook game”. Berryshka  chocolate, with its amazing lavender version, was praised by the chef: “I like this kind of chocolate because it is not very sweet”. Pivovarna Vizir, with its Yellow Submarine beer, was defined by Margarita as having a good smell and is really nice for tasting. The yoghurt with berries, produced by Totter  was described as having a great texture and for not being acid.

 

Margarita said that she has enjoyed BIG BERRY because of the location and people. “I felt like I was a part of the team, not as a guest, so for me, it was really enjoyable”.
